Motor dialogue and motor intentions in early infancy
The motor modality is often downgraded in favor of the visual and the auditive sense modalities. Our purpose with this project is to determine important motor properties in early infancy. The project aims at describing the development of motor dialogue and motor intentions through a combination of video coding and kinematic measurement with a motion capture system.
The empirical data of the study are video recordings of 60 non-clinical mother-infant dyads and 30 mother-infant dyads with the mother diagnosed with Postpartum Depression. The video recordings consist of 10 minutes of face-to-face interaction.
The project is funded by Forskningsrådet for Kultur og Kommunikation (FKK).
