The Department of Psychology invites you to Professor Thomas Morton's inaugural lecture on 4th November, 2022, at 2 pm.

Title: A time and a place for “us”: Maintaining identity in a changing world.

In this inaugural lecture, Thomas will discuss current research projects framed by an interest in the role of identity in shaping how they think, feel, act in response to the world around them. The talk will specifically focus on how identity processes alter the experience of specific physical environments, and how wider social changes might impact identity among individuals from minority groups.

Reception

After the inaugural lecture, there will be a reception at the Department of Psychology, Øster Farimagsgade 2A, room 03.2.M202 (the canteen), from 4 - 6 pm. All are welcome.
